GleanSLO is a program of the Food Bank Coalition of San Luis Obispo County that connects farmers and backyard growers with volunteers, who will harvest fruits and vegetables for local food banks that would otherwise go to waste. The Still Frothy Surf Festival, a major sponsor of WW&B, is a contest created to motivate California’s youths to turn off their computers and video games and discover surfing. More sponsors of the 7th Annual Wine Waves & Beyond include Boutique Hotel Collection, Rabobank, City of Pismo Beach, New Times, KCOY, Paso Robles Wine Country, and SLO International Film Festival.
Where to Stay for WW&B: This is a well-attended and highly anticipated annual event and early reservations are recommended for Pismo Beach and for Avila Beach. Both Pismo Beach and Avila Beach offer a wide variety of lodging choices accommodating every budget and lifestyle from hotels, motels, vacation rentals, and RV/camping facilities.
