Home to over 280 wineries vinifying 40 different grape varieties, San Luis Obispo County welcomes wine lovers from across the country to celebrate California Wine Month at Volvo Presents Sunset SAVOR the Central Coast. From September 24-27, 2015, Sunset SAVOR the Central Coast offers four wine-soaked days where enthusiasts can taste their way through the acclaimed wine country one glass at a time.

This September, celebrate one of California’s signature agricultural products in San Luis Obispo County, and discover why the area’s two distinct wine regions – San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles – have both earned national acclaim. With countless tasting opportunities, Sunset SAVOR the Central Coast offers a variety of experiences that highlight the county as a whole and provide a delicious snapshot of the entire region.

1.)  Taste award-winning wines at Strings at Sunset on September 24! Enjoy some of the world’s best wines from a collection of 2015 Sunset International Wine Competition Winners, and experience some of the top wines from California at this brand new opening night spectacular held at the Vina Robles Amphitheatre.

2.)  Learn from industry experts during Winemaker Central, and expand your wine knowledge through 45-minute seminars led by some of the top minds in the business, including Sunset wine editor Sara Schneider. Explore Syrahs, sparkling wines, Chardonnays, the art of wine and cheese pairing and even take a behind-the-scenes look at how wine competition judges evaluate a wine. Winemaker Central seminars cover everything from grape to glass.

3.)  Indulge in an intimate wine-paired dinner that combines a mouthwatering meal with unforgettable wines. Held at the historic Santa Margarita Ranch on September 26 and 27, the Main Event showcases the best of the Central Coast in a culinary journey that your tastebuds will never forget.

5.)  Sunday Funday at the Main Event, because a Sunday well spent, brings a week of content.
