Restaurants in Avila Beach

The storms have cleared and we’re celebrating restaurant month and showing our local eateries some extra love. Read on for a full list of eateries to dine out in our charming seaside town.

Location, location, location! Perched at the end of the pier, Mersea’s is hard to beat when it comes to fresh seafood paired with panoramic ocean views. Dine on fresh, delicious food, grab a drink at the bar, and enjoy the awesome sights.

You certainly won’t need to take a Mulligan on this meal. Located at one of the most beautiful settings on the Central Coast, Mulligan’s offers casual, comfortable dining along with a full bar. Whether you’re playing golf or just want to enjoy the view, Mulligan’s is always a good time.

Special: For the month of January they are offering a special of Tri-Tip steak bites or Mahi Mahi tuna bites for $15 and $2 off all glasses of wine.

The Gardens of Avila Restaurant at Sycamore Mineral Springs Resort, voted “most romantic” and a favorite spot for locals as well as travelers, is situated in a beautiful garden setting.

Just a step off the beaten path, Woodstone Marketplace is the perfect spot for a delicious meal in a peaceful creekside atmosphere. They use locally grown produce and local fresh fish in their unique entrees, and special homemade sauces to make each dish a flavor encounter of the best kind. They’re open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and offer nightly chef-prepared meals and desserts. Dine indoors in their craftsman-style seating area, or outdoors on the patio overlooking Bob Jones Trail.

This Central Coast beachside location holds beautiful views with a casual atmosphere. An excellent dining experience is a top priority at Custom House. Their menu has something for everyone, including fresh fish!

Named for a big black and yellow cat who kept the construction crew company more than 25 years ago, Fat Cats is a local Avila Beach favorite. There’s a cozy diner-style interior for chilly winter days.

Inspired by European influences, Blue Moon Over Avila is a French Wine Bar & Bistro that offers wines from around the world and expertly prepared dishes in a beautiful seaside setting. Enjoy a rotating menu of seasonal and signature dishes, located steps from the sand.

Aptly named, Ocean Grill, this downtown restaurant offers shimmering seaside views from it’s spot on Front Street. This fine eatery offers expansive views of the Pacific and a menu created by Executive Chef Michael Reyes, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in New York.
