The second Giro Della Costa Centrale, presented by VisitAvilaBeach.com, offers participants a Classic Italian Cycling Festival with four tours of the beautiful Central Coast. The event also features Festivale Italiano, with Italian food from Buona Tavola restaurant, Italian-style local wines, craft beers and classic Italian music! All rides will host a variety of pro cyclists to challenge the field. The tours benefit Alpha Pregnancy and Parenting Support and the Hearst Cancer Resource Center at French Hospital.

Rides:
SLO GranFondo: 100-mile route with a challenge for the intermediate to expert rider. $110
MedioFondo: 61-mile route is equally magnifico, though not quite as challenging as the GranFondo. $95
FemmeFondo: 50-mile women’s only route will have its own separate start and provide the right balance of challenge and fantastico feminine fun! $85

PiccoloFondo: 25-mile route is for the beginner to intermediate cyclist, including recreational, family and weekend warriors. $75
PiccoloFondo Child: For the bambino! Same ride, smaller price. $25

Each ride will be timed for personal tracking. These are rides, not races, so please follow all safety rules. There are six aid stations along the multiple routes, each with its own unique Italian food theme! We will also provide water, FLUID sports drink, CLIF bars and CLIF shots for energy, fruit, salty and sweet snacks.

Bike mechanics will be available prior to and post ride for quick tune-ups, as well as on all routes for support and sag. A free bike valet will be provided on race day so that you can prepare for your ride and relax afterwards with friends and family. Massage, beer and wine will all be available for purchase.

All riders will receive a cotton Giro Della Costa Centrale commemorative t-shirt, a hot Italian lunch, chip on bib timing from ChronoTrack, course mechanical and medical support, professional traffic control, and a virtual race bag with registration.
