4th of July Breakfast and Doggie Parade
Breakfast will be held at the Avila Beach Community Center, 191 San Miguel Street from 8:30-11:00 a.m., followed by the Doggie Parade on the Avila Promenade at 11 a.m.
Tickets for the breakfast are $10 for adults and $5 for children 6 and under. Breakfast includes pancakes, sausage or bacon, fruit, orange juice, milk, tea, and coffee. Tickets can be purchased at the door or at the Community Center office. There will be tables outside in the Healing Garden with puppy sitters so everyone can bring their pets to the breakfast.
The Doggie Parade and Doggie Costume Contest are free, but a $5 donation is appreciated. All dogs must be registered to walk in the parade. They can be pre-registered by completing the registration form available online or during the Pancake Breakfast from 9:30-10:15 a.m. at the Community Center, or from 10:15-10:45 a.m. on the Promenade.
Weekly Farmers’ Market on the Promenade
Immerse yourself in the vibrant local community at the Avila Beach Farmers’ Market every Friday evening from 4 to 8 PM. This weekly event showcases an abundance of fresh produce, artisanal crafts, and delectable local cuisine. Stroll along the promenade, engage with friendly vendors, and savor the flavors of Avila Beach. The Farmers’ Market is not only a fantastic opportunity to support local businesses but also a chance to experience the authentic charm of this coastal town.

Pops by the Sea
The San Luis Obispo Symphony announces the return of Pops-by-the-Sea on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at the Avila Beach Golf Resort! Gates will be open at 2:45 PM and music will begin at 4:00 PM!
The first half of this season-opening Pops concert is dedicated to popular and patriotic works by Dudley Buck, John Williams, Leroy Anderson, Michael W Smith, and John Philip Sousa.
The second half welcomes local singer and songwriter, Damon Castillo and his band. The emcee’s for this event will be the entire KSBY Daybreak team, Genelle Padilla, Vivian Rennie, and Neil Hebert! Bring the whole family to laze in the summer sun and celebrate the Central Coast at the Avila Beach Golf Resort.
Parking is free and a parking pass will be attached to your printable ticket or you can get a pass while parking! No outside drinks are permitted and ice chests will be inspected upon entry.
